Milk is a nutrient-rich liquid packed with protein, calcium, and various minerals that are essential for growth and body strength.
Did you know? Humans only began consuming milk in adulthood after domesticating livestock animals (cows, goats, and sheep) around 8,000 years ago.
Today, milk is a common beverage found in almost every household. Here’s an idea for reusing and upcycling milk cartons efficiently.
Materials:
– Milk carton
– Marker
– Hot glue gun
– Utility knife
Instructions:
- Open the top of the milk carton, wash it, and let it dry thoroughly.
- Cut off the bottom of the milk carton so that it is completely open on both sides.
- Place the carton on the table with the side containing the cap facing up. Fold the two side panels inward and press the folds firmly.
- Fold the carton backwards to about two-thirds of its height (see picture) and secure it with hot glue.
- From the protruding part above the cap’s height, cut out a flap (which will serve as the wallet’s closure).
- Open the cap and use a marker to color the spout’s rim. Close the flap, leaving a mark on it. Cut along this mark to create the wallet’s closure opening.
- Unfold the carton and glue the two sides together using hot glue.
- Fold the flap, insert the hole over the carton’s spout, and secure it with the cap.
